Edo woman burns her grandchild’s hands over noodles

- A Nigerian woman reportedly burnt her grand daughter's hands

- According to her, the child ate noodles without her permission
- She has since been arrested

Children are considered one of God's greatest gift to any mother. With the arrival of a child births the need to provide, protect and most importantly, shower them with all the love a heart can muster.Sadly, this was not the case for a Nigerian woman who burnt her granddaughter's hands simply because she ate noodles without her permission.

According to sources, she placed the little girl's hands on the gas cooker until it burnt, perhaps to her satisfaction. A well meaning individual witnessed the evil deed and reported the case to the Edo State Ministry of Women Affairs.

The Ministry immediately stepped in and arrested the grand mother. They have also taken the child to University of Benin Teaching Hospital for immediate and proper medical care and attention.

This lady was supposed to take care of the little child but ended up giving her a scar she would live with for the rest of her life.
