Atiku storms Silverbird to watch Black Panther, buys ticket for those present

Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, is currently watching Marvel Studios “Black Panther” film at Silverbird, Jabi Mall, Abuja.

The much anticipated film which has an almost entirely black cast and a young African-American director, Ryan Coogler, has already won rave reviews for its stereotype-busting portrayal of Africa.



Atiku who stormed Silverbird towatch the film got there almostan hour ago.The former Vice President, seeing how excited other viewers were, paid for the tickets of everybody who had come to watch the film, a twitter user has claimed.

Meanwhile, Atiku’s presence at Silverbird to watch the film has sparked debate on twitter with many describing the Former VP’s appearance at the cinemaas an act that shows he is a man of the people.
