Aaua Holds PTA meeting Today at OBJ hall regarding the purported Fee hike.

During the meeting, the vice chancellor said;The purpose of our meeting is due to the economic situation of Nigeria… The situation became terrible as from May , 2015. So, we lack subvention.. Workers are working and they deserve their salary… We already exhausted our IGR since April, 2016 and we can no longer pay salary… ASUU strike also affected the income of the school.. The strikes aggravated the sufferings of the University. The problem we have now is that the money is not coming from anywhere… Now, we have to look inwards.. Some students have suggested that the school fees should be increased.

After hours of interactive discussion by both the Pro chancellor and The students/Parents. Mr Tunji Abayomi concluded by assuring everyone present that he’ll get back to the Students and Parents in two weeks time.
