Thirsty goalkeeper caught off guard in Bundesliga 2 clash as he takes a drink while visitors tap in equaliser

A thirsty goalkeeper chose the wrong time to have a drink during a second-tier match in Germany on Saturday.

Bundesliga promotion chasers Duisburg were hosting mid-table Ingolstadt in the German region of Dusseldorf on Saturday afternoon, with the home side leading 1-0.

After hosts Duisburg had seen a goal harshly disallowed, Ingolstadt quickly moved the ball up the field.
The visitors had possession of the ball with their goalkeeper, looking to launch an attack. And that they did, as lofted pass was played over the top of the Duisburg defence.

As the defender Gerrit Nauber charged with chasing down the ball headed it towards his own goal, his goalkeeper wasn't exactly 'switched on'.
The defender headed back to his goalkeeper Mark Flekken, not realising that he was still behind the line with his back to the ball.

Having picked up a bottle behind his own goal-line, completely unaware of the incoming attack, Stefan Kutschke ran in to score unchallenged in the 18th minute.

Flekken did have something to raise a glass to at full time though, as Duisburg won 2-1 and rose to fourth in the second division.
