A Federal High Court in Lagos on Wednesday adjourned until March 20 hearing of an application seeking forfeiture of funds linked to wife of former President Goodluck Jonathan, Patience.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had begun fresh moves to seize funds in 15 bank accounts, including 6.4 million dollars and N7.4 billion linked to Patience.
At the resumed hearing of the case on Wednesday, Mr G. Abibo (SAN) announced appearance for the respondent (Patience), while Mr NnaemekaOmewa, announced appearance for the EFCC.
Omewa informed the court of its ex-parte application dated Dec. 13, 2017, and added that he had also filed a counter affidavit.
